According to an interview with the Famitsu, several Square Enix developers have hinted at new content for Dragon Quest X in 2023. We don’t have details on what we can expect, but we hope Square-Enix will tell us more about it in the near future.
Even though the game was released in Japan over 10 years ago on Wii, it would be nice if it were localized. With so much content available today, it seems unlikely that Square-Enix will take on this massive undertaking at this point. But there is the recently available offline version which seems the ideal candidate for a release here. Dragon Quest X is available on Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and mobile devices (previously on Wii, Wii U and 3DS cloud). The offline version is available on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.
