Springfield officials refused to treat JD Vance because of the lies he tells

Having misinformed the nation that, in Springfield, Ohio, a group of Haitian immigrants were dedicating themselves to stealing pets to feed on them, was the trigger for the officials of that city to refuse to take a phone call from Republican Senator James David Vance where he would presumably prove to them that he was telling the truth.

Days before the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, Republican Senator Ted Cruz and James David Vance, the New York magnate’s running mate, separately and baselessly stated that the citizens of Springfield were being terrified by the activities carried out by a group of Haitian immigrants.

Later, Trump himself, without evidence, addressed the issue during the night of the debate.

However, the mayor of the city and even the governor of Ohio ruled out that something abnormal was happening as it was intended to make us believe.

Even the person who started the rumor that affected the image of Haitians ended up recognizing the lie.

Once the truth came out, Trump’s running mate tried to contact Springfield officials, but they simply ignored him. as Karen Graves, Springfield’s director of strategic engagement, noted in a statement.

We learned that they wanted to include some voters (without providing their names or how they were selected) in what was initially presented as a private call. We decided it was best for us to reject it.

“While we appreciate you reaching out to us, we feel that the scope of the initial invitation has changed from an opportunity to have an honest discussion to potentially being dragged into further politicization,” part of the letter states.

It should be noted that the atmosphere in Springfield could become even more strained in the coming days, as Donald Trump is allegedly planning to visit the city to confront the residents, arguing that his statements about Haitians were based on testimonies published on social networks. before whom he let himself be carried away, believing in their words.
