A dead man and a seriously injured man were found in an apartment in Spreitenbach on Saturday morning. The circumstances are still unclear. The cantonal police assume a homicide and have started investigations.

Due to an unclear report, several police patrols moved to Bahnhofstrasse in Spreitbach on Saturday morning, shortly following 9 a.m. In an apartment of an apartment building, the emergency services found one dead and one seriously injured person.

The crime scene was cordoned off extensively for further police measures. The work on site lasted until mid-followingnoon. The deceased is a 74-year-old man from the canton of Aargau. The seriously injured is a 55-year-old male, also from the canton of Aargau.

He was taken to the hospital in a rescue helicopter with serious injuries. The exact circumstances are still unclear. Initial findings, however, allow the conclusion that a homicide has occurred. The public prosecutor on call has opened criminal proceedings.
