New unofficial information regarding the plan Spotify with support for lossless HiFi audio were released on the internet this week. The resource was first announced in February 2021 and has not yet been released on the platform.

The Reddit forum user identified as Hypixely discovered that the new plan, which should be called “Supremium”, will cost US$19.99/month, around R$98 in direct conversion and without taxes. Therefore, the value may change here.

Hypixely claims it discovered this information in the Spotify app code. The Redditor even said that the Supremium tier can offer 30 hours of audiobook listening per month and the ability to sort the library by mood, activity, and genre.

The app’s code also mentions advanced mixing tools, which allow you to customize the order of playlists by beats per minute and the introduction of smooth transitions between songs for the service’s 24-bit lossless audio plan.

Still according to the leak, the future plan will even offer a “sound check” feature that allows you to learn more regarding listening habits and discover which mix of sounds is exclusive to each user of the audio streaming platform.

Sought by the website The Verge to comment on the information, Spotify spokesperson CJ Stanley stated that the company does not talk regarding rumors of possible new features and that it has nothing new to share at this time.

Other rumors have already pointed out that Spotify will launch this new plan with HiFi audio in the 2nd half of 2023. It is worth remembering that the service postponed the release of HiFi to early 2022 for an indefinite period of time and, since then, there has been no more talk regarding it.
