O Spotify today announced a simple novelty, but one that should make life easier for most of its users: the possibility of downloading albums, playlists and podcast episodes directly from Apple Watch. That is, you can download content to listen offline without needing an iPhone, as long as you subscribe to Spotify Premium.
Naturally, to download albums and the like on Spotify via Apple Watch, you need to be connected to the internet. So, just tap the download icon on an album, playlist or podcast and that’s it, just wait for the time until the process is complete – when you see a green arrow next to the file names.
Remember that it was already possible to download content to listen offline. However, as we have already shown here, the process was a little different, being necessary to download and send the contents of the iPhone to the Apple Watch (which is still the case for individual songs). Thus, the novelty, without a doubt, simplifies the usability of the application!
