O Spotify announced today an update focused on its desktop application with news focused on sections “Your Library” e “Playing Now”. The goal, according to the company, is to align the computer experience with the smartphone version, providing a consistent experience across all platforms.
With the update, the “Your Library” section is now located on the left side of the app, allowing easy access to your saved music and podcast collections. Initial tests indicated to the company that users found the new layout more efficient, saving time and making it easier to switch between playlists.
On the right side of the app, the “Now Playing” section has been improved to show additional information regarding the currently playing song or podcast, such as artist details, tour dates and products. Additionally, users can now follow transcripts of certain podcasts, making the listening experience more interactive.
Spotify said it’s committed to delivering smoother, more intuitive navigation with these changes, giving you better access to your favorite content. Still according to the company, the news will be gradually made available to all users since today.
