He continued, “Even if the interest in the presidency declines at the present time, we will be surprised by a negotiation grant between the Americans and the Iranians, which would be the fastest and most effective way to help Lebanon reach a president for the republic, as there is a very important dynamic in the region, and I say to the Lebanese, just as you were surprised by the maritime demarcation, you may be surprised by the presidential demarcation.”

Rifi concluded by referring to the Sanad party, which “works quietly on the cadres as a first stage, and then goes to the public. I do not seek leadership, but rather to serve our people, and the Sunni community is healthier than it was before, and needs a new leadership.”
