Writer and political analyst Hassan al-Durr saw that “the biggest beneficiary of the explosion inside the Ain al-Hilweh camp is the Israeli enemy, and the most dangerous thing in the matter is that Lebanon turns into an arena for settling Israeli scores on Lebanese territory through a fifth column that destabilizes Lebanese stability.”

In an interview via “Spot Shot” within the “Point of View” program, Al-Durr said: “The Israeli fabric is in crisis, and my fear is that it will export it to the Lebanese interior to tell the resistance on the road to the south and in its capital in one of the largest Palestinian camps: I can play in your yard and I can detonate A ticking time bomb anytime I want.”

He wondered regarding what might happen in the month of August, “Are these harbingers of what is coming to us financially, monetary, or even security? Will the pressure increase to the extent that someone will benefit from it to market to the army commander, General Joseph Aoun, as happened previously following the Nahr al-Bared war that brought General Michel Suleiman to Presidency of the Republic: Does anyone want to take advantage of what is happening in Ain al-Hilweh as a card of strength to impose the army commander to defy the pressure of the security issue?
