In this natural setting, where the houses stretch and are reflected along the Loire, visitors can stroll over the lattice bridge to the church square and thus discover the work of 10 international photographers. “The objective is therefore to put a spotlight on these spectacular, original or artistic images, of known or unknown sports, taken during major national or international sporting events”, says photographer Eddy Lemaistre, co-founder of the Festival.
Reporter-photographer since 1997, Eddy wanted to reveal to the public his report on the “Grande Odyssée”, the biggest European sled dog race, which takes place every year in the Alps. “I agreed to exhibit my work this year in order to encourage my colleagues to follow us in the adventure,” he explains.
