The mayoress of the Libertador de Caracas municipality, Carmen Meléndez, inaugurated the sports field in the OPPE 17 urban development, in the El Paraíso parish, to promote healthy recreation and physical training among children and youth. The work is part of the works of the Plan Gran Caracas Patriota, Bella y Segura.
This was announced by the highest municipal authority, through the social network Twitter @gestionperfecta, where he expressed: “The girls and boys of this community in the La Paz sector are going to enjoy this space recovered for sports, culture and recreation.” .
Accompanied by the National Anti-drug Superintendent, M/G Richard López Vargas, the mayor asserted that this sports infrastructure also had the support of the National Anti-drug Fund (FONA) and the National Anti-drug Superintendency (Sunad), in coordination with Popular Power, achieving recover a total of 557 courts in the capital city.
