Sport Austria boss Niessl is annoyed by ORF savings plans: “Logic works differently” – Sport

Vienna – Sport Austria President Hans Niessl was irritated by ORF boss Roland Weißmann’s savings plans. The fact that the special interest channel ORF Sport + is to be discontinued as a linear TV channel is “a lack of concept”, Niessl stated in a broadcast. He criticized that the channel should be sacrificed as a “budgetary dwarf with great socio-political potential because a financial hole of 300 million euros has to be closed… Logic works differently.”
