“A meeting between management and unions ended around 11 a.m. and was followed by a general meeting with staff. The conclusion is that we are rather aiming for a complete resumption of services tomorrow (Saturday, Editor’s note). It is possible that certain services will be released today, but in a very piecemeal manner,” explained Isabelle Tasset, external communications manager, on Friday.

“We understand the motives”

Among the reasons given for this strike is essentially the deterioration of working conditions linked to the traffic problems experienced in the city center of Liège. “We condemn this strike which was not given notice, but we understand the reasons for it and we are trying to respond as best we can,” the company adds.
