A severe mudslide near Woudenberg is currently sparking new discussions about emergency medical care in the Steirische Eisenstrasse neighborhood. For Liezen SPÖ National Council Member Mario Lindner, the current situation once again shows how urgently the region ultimately needs a base for ground-based emergency doctors: “The current situation is not just unstable – but Steirische Eisenwurzen, for example, in winter, unfortunately , the night has not been well taken care of for a long time. Lindner himself, a volunteer manager at the local branch of the Red Cross in Altenmarkt/Grosslevlin, also made it clear that the excuses circulated in the media about the lack of staff were just that. “It is time that we finally put aside party politics and political excuses and find real solutions for the region.
