Sad news coming from the music industry. Spiritual singer Melitha Sidabutar died on Monday (8/4). The record label Impact Music, which has managed Melitha all this time, announced this sad news via a post on its Instagram account, @impactmusicindonesia. In the upload, Impact Music also included plans for a consolation service and the funeral home where Melitha will be laid to rest.
“Goodbye Melitha, be with the Lord Jesus in glorious heaven. “Carolus funeral home consolation service by church @gti.tiberias 19.00,” wrote Impact Music, complete with a photo of Melitha and the date of birth until death.
“Let’s provide comfort to the families left behind,” he continued.
Melitha died at the age of 23 years. However, there is no information regarding the cause of Melitha’s death. Previously, in March 2023, he released his newest spiritual song, namely Helper in Distress.
In the song with full band music accompaniment, Melitha expresses her gratitude for God’s love. He also sang that God is always present in every trouble he experiences in this life.
“Your love for me is so wonderful, always proven in trouble, my faithful helper,” as the lyrics of the song Helper in Trouble.

For your information, Melitha was known to the public as a singer when she participated in Indonesia Idol with her twin sister, Melisha Sidabutar. Melitha had to receive sad news, losing Melisha in 2020 due to illness.
In her latest video upload on her Instagram account, @melithatricia, Melitha revealed how difficult it was to lose her sister. “Because I’m so traumatized, sometimes I forget that Melisha is no longer there,” said Melitha in a video uploaded on Thursday (28/3).
Three years later, Melitha finally caught up with her older sister. In the comments column of the video upload, the audience expressed their deep sorrow.
