PRIME Video announced a 2-episode spin-off series of the Korean drama No Gain No Love, titled Spice Up Our Love, will be coming soon.
Actors Lee Sang-yi and Han Ji-hyeon will be the leads in this rom-com.
Nam Ja-yeon (Han Ji-hyeon), who played a popular R-rated web novel writer in No Gain No Love will be the main character of her web novel in Spice Up Our Love, while actor Lee Sang-yi will play her lover in the spin-off.
Viewers can catch the adorable couple in the spin-off that will air on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories on October 3.
In No Gain No Love, Nam Ja-yeon meets Bok Gyu-hyun (Lee Sang-yi) when she sues him for writing malicious comments on her web novel.
However, in Spice Up Our Love, Nam Ja-yeon transforms herself into the main character in the web novel she wrote named Seo Yeon-seo, a nutritionist at a company called GB Electric, while Bok Gyu-hyun transforms into the male lead character, Kang Ha-jun, the CEO of GB Electric.
The novel’s plot follows Ha-jun, who is notoriously picky about the menu that Yeon-seo has been diligently developing. As the two characters continue to interact and eventually develop feelings for each other, a passionate and sweet love story begins.
Kim Hye-young, who is the writer of No Gain No Love, is the creator of Spice Up Our Love. Meanwhile, Director Jung Hoon and writer Cho Min-jeong are leading the production for this spin-off. (Z-1)
