SPEEDWEEK.com described the qualifying of the MotoGP class in the live ticker: Ducati already dominated the free practice sessions at the Red Bull Ring, Enea Bastianini also took pole following Borgo Panigale.
On Friday and in FP3 on Saturday morning, Pramac-Ducati driver Johann Zarco set the fastest time. The 32-year-old Frenchman was already on pole position at Silverstone two weeks ago, but at the “CryptoDATA Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich” he had to settle for 6th place on the grid.
Nevertheless, as expected, pole position went to a Ducati rider: For the first time in his MotoGP career, three-time winner of the season Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing) will start from position 1.
