News event Speedons: From Star Wars to Zelda, charity speedruns start tonight!

Speedons is an annual French event bringing together speedrunners to raise funds for the benefit of the NGO Médecins du Monde. The 2022 edition starts tonight.
Organized by Doctors of the World and embodied by MisterMVthe Speedons charity marathon of speedrunners launches its second edition This year. Speedons 2022 will start tonightwe present you the schedule.
Speedons is this weekend!
This second edition will take place at Palais des Congrès de Paris, from tonight 5:30 p.m. to Sunday midnight. Like the American Games Done Quick, you will be able to attend live on Twitch the succession of speedruns carried out live by some of the most gifted players on their games of choice. Above all, the event is an opportunity to raise money for the Médecins du Monde association, which organizes the event. Last year is 614,000 euros which had been collected by the NGO during the event.

The schedule is tight, with forty-seven speedruns planned over the three days. In addition, new this year: the speed-drawingin other words quick drawing, which will be carried out by the artists Nyo, Slanmetha et Resurrection. Also note that MisterMV will receive speakers from Doctors of the World on a tray. They will discuss the event together of course, but above all the actions of Doctors of the World in the field, and the way in which the funds raised will be used followingwards. Five interventions are planned : Friday at 5:30 p.m. to launch the event, Saturday at 1 p.m. between Dishonored 2 and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. between Rockman 4 BCAS and Metroid Dread, Sunday at 2 p.m. between Mushihimesama and Celeste, and finally Sunday from 11 p.m. to close the event.
You will be able to make donations during the event under the dedicated Twitch channels, and in particular that of MisterMV. Also, you can make purchases at the official store, to donate and receive an additional prize. Speedons begins tonight at 5:30 p.m. on MisterMV’s channel.
