The high speed and strong acceleration of the vehicle were noticeable, whereupon the police began pursuit. Through a speed measurement and video recordings, a speed of 162 km/h with a permitted speed of 100 km/h was determined.
The 61-year-old Welser’s provisional driver’s license was initially taken away and the man was prohibited from continuing his journey.
