SPECTACULAR MYSTIC: MARRAKESH LIVES!

The name Marrakesh means “Land of God”, and then we begin to understand the reasons why the place is the cradle of so much inspiration, mystique and admiration.

One of the four imperial cities of Morocco, Marrakesh is home to incredible exotic landscapes. Such magic and beauty are unanimous and influenced the tile of the same name by Decortiles, used in the project by architect Marcelo Franco, with the signature of Ana Virginia Furlani in interior architecture.

Professionals brought more than just design and creativity to the environments of the Saline Taíba Boutique Beach Hotel, in Ceará: they enriched the setting with the purest dazzle and fascination that Moroccan tiles are capable of transcending in ceramic tiles. A treat for the eyes; a welcome for the soul. “Choosing the coating for the bathrooms was one of the most challenging! Right from the start, I opted for something striking on the bench wall, as a reference point of color and relaxation. For this reason, we initially thought of painting by hand, but soon the idea was discarded because we thought that the effect would not have much resistance, in addition to the fact that the print might tire”, comments Ana Virgínia.

TIMELESS PERSONALITY

The professional says that she carried out a real search for coatings that had the personality they wanted to convey to the project, but without falling into fads or very marked trends, so that the environment would not quickly become obsolete or tiring. “It was at that moment that I came across the Marrakesh tile: a 20x20cm tile reminiscent of hand-made Moroccan ceramics. With 50 different faces, the tile makes reference to manual work, but with all the technology and advantages of a material developed in an industry as supported as Decortiles”, says Ana Virgínia.

The interior architect also points out that the colors of Marrakech matched perfectly with the mood of the project designed and developed. “The effect of the coating tones was enhanced with the choice of colored cement vats. We took advantage of the entire color palette of the product”, he celebrates.

The vibrant tones of Majorelle, the famous botanical garden located in the center of Marrakesh, inspired Marrakesh Blue, by Decortiles. The 15x15cm tile was used in the bathroom and spa by Marcelo Franco and Ana Virgínia Furlani. The Moroccan garden, which includes around 3,000 botanical species, seems to vibrate in this environment from Ceará, carefully designed to raise the mood and keep happiness and harmony intact, with spirituality and tranquility as the backdrop of this subtly enchanting architectural paradise. “The bathroom in any hotel is one of the first things people look at before making a reservation. I am very happy with the choice of this coating for our bathrooms, as it met our demand perfectly. The bathroom environments became one of the most photographed places in the development”, celebrates Ana Virgínia.

The surface of Marrakesh Blue is shiny and seems to sparkle, with intensity, the best feelings. The tiles come with texture that is pleasant to see and feel – even if only with the eyes, such perfection in the details!

CHARM AND SIMPLICITY

The room created by Marcelo Franco and Ana Virgínia is all in beige and wood tones, wrapped in a clean and cozy atmosphere. All the charm and poetry of Marrakesh Off White also persists in the bathrooms and toilets, in another proposal to perpetuate, indoors, what nature emanates beautifully and genuinely from the outside.

In this tone, the coating projects a feeling of peace, quietness and full and accessible sophistication. A perfect mix between classic and elegant colors with the welcoming and dynamic texture of ultra-modern pieces.

The invitation is made and Marrakesh is closer than you think. Bon voyage!
