The show “Lovers of Figure Skating” in honor of February 14 has become an annual event. This time, the CSKA Arena did not gather the current stars of the figure – this week the Spartakiad is taking place in Magnitogorsk, where the main stars of the national team are performing. But the audience was delighted by those who had recently rocked the big tournaments.

The headliners of the evening were Evgenia Medvedeva, Alina Zagitova and Alexandra Trusova. Moreover, in the second part of the show, the skaters performed literally one following another, skating to the live vocals of the singer Zivert.

Alexandra Trusova was one of the first to go on the ice. The Olympic vice-champion lit up to Yulianna Karaulova’s live performance of the song “You’re Not Like That.” The triple lutz and double axel were executed perfectly – if there were judges on the show, they would have given positive marks.

In the second part, Trusova delighted the audience with the premiere of her performance to the Zivert song “Humans Will Survive.” The lyrical performance began with Alexandra’s dreams on the bench and continued with gentle skating. Two triple lutzes and a double axel – all jumps are on par!

Evgenia Medvedeva in the first part of the show she performed together with Alexander Enbert to “Call me with you” performed by Anatoly Tsoi. Lots of difficult lifts and lifts – real pair skating! In this combination, the guys might rock at a show program tournament, but according to the current rules, singles skaters there must remain singles skaters, and double skaters and dancers must perform with a partner from a sports career.

In the block with Zivert, Zhenya chose the song “Ellipses”. The number turned out to be bright, danceable, and expressive. The figure skater delighted the audience with her signature triple Salchow.

Alina Zagitova in the first part she skated to the song “Winter in the Heart” by the group “My Michelle”, in the second – to Credo Zivert – the same track that the skater herself performed at the festival a year ago. The Olympic champion’s jumps didn’t work out – two butterflies on the flip, but she still looked impressive on the ice.

Immediately following the second number, the skater tenderly hugged Zivert. At this time, the fans strewn the ice with a huge number of toys – it was Zagitova who became the leader in fan support that evening.

So who was the coolest of the show’s three headliners? Sasha Trusova is clearly in the best athletic shape, easily snapping the Lutz – the most difficult of the three-revolution jumps. Zhenya Medvedeva is the coolest in terms of diversity of numbers; the single skater mastered many complex elements from pair skating. And Alina Zagitova stood out with her expression and strong fan support.
