The Lovely Edgar "N" – A Real Catch!

The Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Investigation and Prosecution of the Crime of Femicide, provided sufficient elements that allowed obtaining an order of connection to proceedings against Edgar “N”, for his alleged responsibility in the crime of attempted femicide, committed in the municipality of Emiliano Zapata.
On June 19 of this year, the female victim received a telephone call from the accused, with whom she had maintained a romantic relationship and whom she had reported for the crime of family violence. The man threatened to publish naked photographs of her if she did not go to see him.
The victim’s mother accompanied him to the place where the accused works in the Villa Morelos neighborhood, in the town of Tezoyuca, municipality of Emiliano Zapata, and when the man saw that the woman had not come alone, he began to verbally attack her, threatening her with make public the images he claimed to have.
The female victim and the accused went to the guardhouse of the housing complex, where the man hit her until she knocked her to the floor, and from a backpack he took out a knife with which he tried to injure the woman in the neck, however she The victim managed to grab said backpack with which he prevented him from injuring her, struggling with the aggressor until he managed to flee the scene in the company of his mother aboard a taxi.
Upon reporting the facts to the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office, the Action Protocol with a Gender Perspective for the crime of feminicide was activated, carrying out the corresponding procedures, obtaining an arrest warrant against the alleged perpetrator.
Commissioned personnel from the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) managed to arrest 28-year-old Edgar “N” in the Reforma neighborhood of the municipality of Cuernavaca.
In the respective hearing, the Femicide Prosecutor’s Office formulated an accusation and presented sufficient evidence that allowed a control judge to issue an order against Edgar “N” to be linked to proceedings for the crime of attempted femicide, imposing prison. preventive action against him and a period of three months was established to conclude the investigations.
