The Lebanese actor Abdo Shaheen was the guest of the editor-in-chief of the media website Al-Fan, Hala Al-Murr, in her weekly program, What Appears, and they dealt with many artistic topics.
He spoke regarding his participation in the revolution, the importance of his country Lebanon to him, and all that he and a group of actors offered with the aim of building a homeland.
On the other hand, he talked regarding his embodiment of difficult roles, specifically the role of evil, and how some people hated him because of these characters, and he said that it was not easy for him to get out of any role, especially from the character “Shaheen” in the “prestige” series, which required many changes from him.
He talked regarding his participation in the play “The Sect 19”, which had a great credit for him, because through this work, the director Samer Al-Barqawi got to know him to participate in “The Prestige”. He saluted the brothers Farid and Maher Sabbagh and the director Samer Al-Barqawi. And he took advantage of talking regarding the play “Sect 19” to confirm that he crossed out his sect from his individual registration.
He talked regarding his experience in the series “No Judgment” and it was the most difficult test for him to get out of the mantle of “Shaheen”.
He revealed that he watched the movie Al-Hiba and responded to the criticism of the lack of scenes of the able actress Mona Wasef.
Abdo Shaheen said that he does not live a love story, revealed the characteristics of his life partner, and defended Nadine Nassib Njeim, indicating that it is spontaneous and natural, and the infringement of the artist’s privacy hurts him. He revealed the fact that there was a dispute between him and Al-Sabah Company, denying this matter.
