Christina Holbik donated a wheelchair bike with an electric motor to the adventure workshop where she had worked during her voluntary social year. This enables wheelchair users to learn to cycle.
She also bought a therapy tandem for the following-school care center of St. Pius. She inherited the money from her father, who died a year ago and was a passionate cyclist himself. “I suffered a great loss, so I made it my mission to make something good out of it anyway,” says Holbik. “I experienced everything that makes a family for me in St. Pius. I wanted to give something back,” she says.
