Special control rooms established for evacuation of illegal residents in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Special control rooms have been set up in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to evacuate illegally staying foreigners.

A crackdown has been launched against illegal residents in KP and Balochistan since November 1. Temporary camps for foreigners have also been set up in Peshawar, Landi Kotal and Quetta.

Illegal residents off campus will be deported back to their home countries in accordance with the law. Representatives of the police, customs, NADRA and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) will collect data in the control room.

The temporary camps established in Khyber and Chaman districts have provided facilities for temporary accommodation, including registration procedures, medical assistance, accommodation and food supply.

Data of more than 52,000 illegal foreigners have been collected in KP since October 22.

Landi Kotal: 5 thousand 650 Afghan citizens left for Afghanistan

On the other hand, 5 thousand 650 Afghan citizens left for Afghanistan from Landi Kotal temporary camp.

In this regard, the Afghan Commissionerate says that 733 Afghan families were kept in the temporary camp yesterday, 2,330 people from KP were transferred to the Landi Kotal temporary camp.

The Afghan Commissionerate said that 2,530 illegal Afghan citizens were brought to the camp from Punjab, 536 from Islamabad, 103 from Azad Kashmir and 151 from Sindh.

He said that all the Afghan citizens were allowed to go to Torkham border from the holding center last night. After the legal action at Torkham, the Afghan citizens were sent to Afghanistan this morning.
