Speaking out about mental health: a podcast from Zest

“Having met peers is one of the things that has helped me the most in my recovery and it’s clearly what has unlocked my speech,” testifies Coline among others. On February 27, Zest (Zone d’expression contre la stigmatisation) hosted its first live audio dedicated to speaking out on mental health. A podcast allows you to listen to the interventions.

This event was organized on the occasion of the launch of ZE STudio, an audiovisual studio dedicated to the creation of audiovisual projects to fight once morest the stigmatization of mental disorders. For 45 minutes, ZEST participants and the team took the floor to:
• present ZE STudio: its objectives and how it works
• discuss the stigmatization of mental disorders and their relationship to self-stigma
• Discuss the reasons and the form of their involvement in speaking out regarding mental health, and the impact that this speaking out may have had!
