The candidate for the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas (SPAUAZ), Jenny González Arenasalong with the team from the “Union Defense and Democracy (DeSiDe)” payroll, toured the Academic Unit of Human Medicine and Health Sciencesto publicize the actions and commitments for the benefit of the teaching community of the institution.

“We are committed to making a comprehensive and finished proposal for a Statutory Reform; deliver workloads on time, in a proper manner and in accordance with the law; basification and promotions in accordance with the collective agreement; rendering of accounts of the Foundation every three months; free and voluntary union membership; achieve the signing in 2023 of the UAZ-ISSSTE agreement, González Arenas explained to the union members.
In addition, regarding the management of transparency in the union’s resources, he raised the need for a “reactivation of union life, since many teachers are unaware of their rights, in such a way that when they are violated, many times they do not even know it” .
In this sense, he invited them to reflect and analyze their vote, since, he said, “it is essential to defend the rights of all union members.”
