Netflix released today knownthat a partnership with Sennheiser brings Spatial Audio to customers all. Netflix uses Sennheiser’s AMBEO technology to enhance stereo audio with a surround-sound effect that’s compatible with all devices and all streaming services, and doesn’t require surround-sound speakers or home theater equipment .
If users do not have surround sound speakers, spatial audio is automatically enabled when viewing a compatible series or movie with stereo audio. However, some TVs default to 5.1 audio output, which disables spatial audio. If your device does not have surround sound speakers, it is recommended to change your device’s settings to stereo audio.
