Sparks celebrates five years with a collective song by Sotrac

The Sparks Festival will live this year its fifth edition and celebrates it with a song by the group Sotrac, one of the organizers, in collaboration with a dozen artists who have passed through Llagostera in these four years. This isa single flame, a song to lose the fear and that calls to the change from the sum of complicities that counts on the collaborations of the Valencian cantautor Pau Alabajos; the duet formed by Mireia Vives and Borja Penalba; Adrià Dilmé from Banyoles, singer of Germà Negre; Tona Gafarot, who in addition to her solo project is also a singer from Les Anxovetes; Cesk Freixas, Paula Grande and Sergi Carbonell, former member of Txarango who premiered the show at L’Espurnes The Carbonells.

The song, recorded and produced at Estudi La Vall, is accompanied by a video clip directed by Martí Llavina that premiered this Thursday and shows images of the making-off and recording of the song.

The premiere ofa single flame will be the prelude toa fifth edition of the festival that will return to the Parc de l’Estació following two years of changes of locationor forced by the pandemic. It will take place on May 6 and 7, with two days of concerts and activities for the whole family at a free daytime festival. The poster will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
