AMSTERDAM, June 15, WAM/ The Spanish national football team qualified for the final match of the third edition of the European Nations League, by defeating its Italian counterpart 2-1 today, Thursday, in the semi-finals of the tournament.
The Spanish national team will meet in the final, next “Sunday”, with its Croatian counterpart, who beat its Dutch counterpart 4-2 yesterday, “Wednesday”, in the other semi-final match.
The first half ended in a 1-1 draw, as the Spanish national team scored through Yermi Pino in the 3rd minute, and Ciro Immobile equalized for the Italian national team with a penalty kick in the 11th minute.
In the second half, the tie remained between the two teams until the 88th minute, which witnessed the winning goal for the Spanish national team, signed by Joselo.
