Karol G showed up at the stadium Santiago Bernabeu four consecutive days as the closing act of her tour, becoming the first artist to fill the stadium for these consecutive days. This was a gratifying achievement for the artist and many of her fans, which shocked an entire country.

However, the events were not pleasant for everyone, since the Spanish journalistAntonio Naranjo made this known in an interview, where he called her a “bully,” this fact generated discontent among the artist’s followers who quickly mobilized to share their disagreement through social networks such as X, TikTok and Instagram, considering the journalist’s comment as xenophobic.

Naranjo felt the need to publish a video clarifying that he uses the term “petardo” to refer to something that he doesn’t like. He added in his video that it’s all a matter of taste and that, for him, reggaeton was not to his liking.

Finally he concludes his apologies with the clarification about his connection and attraction to Colombia, mentioning directly that what he said in his interview was not as criticism for this country and its inhabitants “…I have many ties and many friends, and much less Colombian men and women, who also seem adorable to me.”
