In the FIFA Women’s World Cup final, Invincible Armada Spain defeated European champions England to claim their first title.
Spain became the first country to reach the top of the World Cup with both men’s and women’s teams, following Germany.

Spain took the lead from the start and pushed England back.
Spain continued their offensive and scored the opening goal in the 29th minute of the first half.
After blocking England’s attack in the middle, they launched a quick counterattack, and Olga Carmona, who was penetrating, shook the net with a low and quick shot.
