You might enjoy a gourmet meal in space next year for a cool sum of 130,000 euros (CA$191,324) if the Zephalto company achieves its goals.

Indeed, tickets are already available in presale at 10,000 euros (CA$14,717), but a full trip will cost you more than $190,000.

The space tourism company, founded by former air traffic controller Vincent Farret d’Astiès, organizes trips in a pressurized capsule, called Celeste, attached to a stratospheric balloon, reports CNN.

The first flight departures are scheduled for the end of 2024 at the earliest.

These original trips will be able to carry six passengers and two pilots at maximum altitude for a duration of 90 minutes at a speed of 4 meters per second.

The capsule will then float above the Earth for approximately three hours, giving you plenty of time to savor a multi-course Michelin meal and enjoy a fine glass of wine.
