Recently, there were some rumors that the seventh round of social welfare support would be cancelled, after the delay in announcing the names of those covered by social welfare for the last round. The Iraqi government, for its part, denied this matter and attributed this delay to the large number of citizens who applied for support. Conditions for obtaining social welfare support
In order to benefit from social welfare support, all conditions set by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs must be met, which are as follows:
- The applicant for support must be of Iraqi nationality.
- For men, the applicant must not be less than 18 years old, and must not be older than 60 years old, while for women, the applicant must not be less than 15 years old, and not more than 55 years old.
- Documents must also be submitted proving how many family members have applied for support.
- The applicant’s monthly income must not be greater than the minimum allocated by the Ministry.
