‘South Park’ pokes fun at Vladimir Putin and the nuclear threat

TV SERIES – Episode 4 of the 25th season of South Parkbroadcast Wednesday on American television on the Comedy Central channel, is in the news, as it has already been the case several times in the past.

In this episode, the creators of the animated series, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, unveiled an episode dedicated to the war in ukraineone week following the start of the russian invasion.

Entitled Back to the Cold War (Back to the Cold War), we can notably see the Russian President Vladimir Poutine openly mocked, dancing shirtless in his office. This one is shown getting older and more aggressive because his “dick doesn’t work like it used to” (see a video clip below).

In the episode, the nuclear threat is pregnant, since the guidance counselor of the elementary school of South Park carries out with the pupils of the security exercises in the event of a nuclear attack.

He also asks to release a budget to build bomb shelters and to buy cassettes of old spy films from the 80s, in particular that of Red Dawn. Released in 1984, this film takes place in a world where NATO has been dissolved and the Soviet bloc has survived.
