    A government inspection team to check the safety of Fukushima contaminated water departed for Japan this morning (21st).

    The inspection team plans to check the contaminated water purification facilities and discharge facilities at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant for 6 days and 5 nights.

    The inspection team consisted of 21 people, including director Gukhee Yoo. These include 19 nuclear power plant and radiation experts from the Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety and 1 marine environment radiation expert from the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology.
