[Seoul / Ulsan 10th Archyde.com]–The production of Hyundai Motor’s largest factory in South Korea fell to half of the normal production on the 9th due to a shortage of parts due to a truck driver’s strike. A company official revealed on the 10th.

The strike by a Korean truck driver rushed on the 9th and 3rd day. Delivery from ports and container warehouses has been disrupted, and there are concerns regarding its impact on the international supply chain.

At the Hyundai Motor factory in Ulsan, southern part, regarding 1,000 drivers went on strike on the 10th.

According to union officials, the factory was in full operation before the strike, but the operating rate on the 9th dropped to regarding 50-60%.

Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. says that the strike has caused confusion, but has not disclosed the impact on production.
