Mumbai: The South Indian-Bollywood movie controversy has been a topic of discussion on social media and among stars for some time now. Now, actress Alia Bhatt has responded on the issue. Alia says that not all South Indian films are successful and the successful films are good. Alia added that films have been similarly successful in Bollywood and should show some kindness to Hindi films. Alia clarified these things in an interview given to a media.

Also, the salaries of the actors are disproportionate to the film’s budget. I agree with this. But I am not the one to tell them what they should be paid. There are examples of actors waiving their remaining salary and refunding their purchase money after learning that the films are doing poorly at the box office.’
