South America’s Stuck in Neutral: Chile’s Diplomatic Efforts Stall as Venezuelan Impasse Drags On

The government of the Chilean president, Gabriel Boric, referred to the difficulty in finding a way out of the situation that Venezuela is experiencing, after the presidential elections of July 28.

In dialogue with Radio Pauta, Gloria de la Fuente, undersecretary of Foreign Affairs of that country, was clear in pointing out: “We are still not close to finding a solution regarding the situation in Venezuela.”
