South African Pitso Mosimane, the coach of the Abha team, expressed his happiness with the victory over Al-Fateh, in the match that brought them together tonight in the 27th round of the Saudi Professional League.

Abha achieved victory over its guest Al-Fateh by two goals to one, raising its score to 25 points in fifteenth place, while Al-Fateh’s score froze at 37 points in seventh place.

Mosimane said, in the press conference for the match: “The team today is distinguished in everything. The players gave me their heart today on the field.”

He added: “We succeeded in proving our character after our success in returning from a harsh loss by eight goals in the last match to a distinguished victory today.”

Mosimane seemed angry after Mosimane asked Al-Sharq Al-Awsat whether he relied on a defensive style or a high-pressure style, especially since he will face big teams in the upcoming rounds. He said: “I do not have Sadio Mane or Cristiano Ronaldo. I can only work with the elements I have. “I’m trying with all my might to work hard, but I don’t have more players who have special qualities.”

He concluded his speech: “The performance has improved since our arrival, and we hope to continue this work to stay away from the relegation positions. We must help Abha to stay in the professional league, and this is our main goal.”

On the other hand, Croatian Slaven Bilic, coach of Al-Fateh team, attributed the loss to Abha to fatigue.

Bilic said in the press conference after the match: “I understand my team’s response today, especially after the pressure of the matches, so I have no comment other than congratulations to the Abha team.”
