The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe was received in audience Thursday, August 18, in Brazzaville by the President of the Republic, Denis Sassou Nguesso. The two personalities discussed investment opportunities in Congo.

The boss of African football, Patrice Motsepe paid a working visit on Thursday August 18 to Brazzaville where he had an interview with the Head of State Denis Sassou Nguesso. The South African businessman Patrice Motsepe, presented an investment project for phosphate and other fertilizers, in the Hinda area, in the department of Kouilou. It is an area known for its high concentration of nitrogen and potassium, two elements that go into the composition of phosphate. Several hundred thousand US dollars will be invested to promote the manufacture of grains for the development of agriculture. Patrice Motsepe and his host also spoke about the development of football in Congo. The president of the CAF expressed the wish to see Congo compete in the 2026 Football World Cup. As a reminder, Patrice Motsepe is a South African mining businessman. He is the founder of the company African Rainbow Minerals and is its executive chairman.
