SOUTH AFRICA: Orlando Pirates release two other players

Orlando Pirates have released midfielder Linda Mntambo and defender Ntsikelelo Nyauza

This is the latest clearance for the DStv Premiership side who parted company with nearly 10 players including star striker Gabadinho Mhango.
According to the Pirates, Mntambo joined Sekhukhune United following signing a deal with the club.

Mntambo joined the club in 2018 following making spells at Jomo Cosmos and Chippa United.
He recorded 71 appearances for the Buccaneers in all competitions, scoring 8 times and registering 6 assists.
Meanwhile, the Pirates confirmed the amicable parting with Nyauza following a meeting between the two sides on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old defender has been at the heart of the Bucs defense since joining in 2013.
“After captain Happy Jele, ‘Ntsiki’ as he is affectionately known was the club’s second most experienced player with 192 appearances to his name, including 7 goals and 4 assists.
“The club would like to thank Mntambo and Nyauza for their contribution and the professionalism they have shown during their stay with us, and we wish them both the best for the future,” say the Pirates.

The Pirates have since appointed a new Spanish coach, José Riveiro.
