BEIRUT/ANKARA: Three sources said on Friday that Syria is resisting Russian efforts to broker a summit with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, after more than a decade of bitter hostility since the outbreak of the civil war in Syria.
However, two Turkish sources, including a senior official, doubted that Damascus was delaying and said that things were on track for an eventual meeting between the two leaders.
