Kochi: The shooting of the film ‘Abel’ starring Soubin Shahir has started in Kattappana. Scripted and directed by debutant Anish Jose Moothedan, the film is produced by Anil Mathew under the banner of Mary Mata Productions. After working in ad film and VFX direction, Anish Jose Moothedan is entering the feature film field.
The film is set in the background of hill migrant farmers, mainly a few Christian families. Through this film, the story of relationships is told by integrating the land science, customs and culture of the immigrants. And there is also a love story.

All this is presented through small moments with a touch of humor. Soubin Shahir plays the central character of Abel. Athithi Ravi is the heroine. Anish Jose, the director, said that the actors who are suitable for the roles of Tarapolimakappuram have been included in this film.
