The state of emergency in the village was introduced at 21:00. At that time, regarding 50 buildings were engulfed in fire. At first, wood waste and buildings in the neighborhood burned, but gusts of wind and dry grass helped the fire spread. The Russian Emergencies Ministry sent a Mi-8 helicopter and a group of firefighters to help extinguish the fire.
– The fight once morest the elements is carried out from the ground and from the air. Aviation EMERCOM of Russia discharged 36 tons of water.
In total, 60 people and 14 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. There were no reports of casualties.
Deputy Governor Azat Salikhov and Minister of Public Security Alexander Kudryavtsev were sent to Sosva. They will coordinate the work of rescuers, help in the elimination of fires and will deal with the resettlement of fire victims. A temporary accommodation center was opened in the village.
The same instructions were given to other settlements where fires broke out today.
