On March 20, the dismembered body of a woman was found by the side of a road near the Italian city of Brescia. Very quickly the medical examiner had affirmed that it was Charlotte Angie, Italian-Dutch stripper and 26-year-old porn star. Better known by her stage name, Carol Maltesi, her body might be identified due to several tattoos.
Police then turned their suspicions to Davide Fontana, 43, a neighbor who is said to be the young woman’s ex-partner. Although at first the suspect denied any involvement, the police had nevertheless noticed contradictions in his testimony and had therefore decided to continue his interrogation. This Monday night, the man finally admitted to his murder. In his confession to the police, he explains that during a dispute, he allegedly hit his ex-partner in the head, causing his death. He then decided to cut Carol Maltesi’s body into 15 pieces which he placed in four garbage bags which he put in his freezer.
He finally decided to dispose of the body last weekend by dumping the bags in a ravine in a village near Brescia in northern Italy. The body was then discovered by a hiker, since the young woman’s hand was sticking out of one of the bags. The hiker said he was shocked by the manicure of the victim, long nails painted with glitter.
Carol Maltesi was considered one of the rising stars of porn by the Italian press. She had been missing for a month and her fans had quickly noticed her absence since she had not posted anything on her social networks and her professional page. She was also supposed to take part in an erotic show in March.
