[Reposted]This is the “The pre-dawn Martian sky photographed by the Mars rover “Perseverance”” This is an image. This photo was taken on March 18, 2023 (mission number 738*) using one of the two navigation cameras “NavCam” mounted on Perseverance’s mast.

*1 Sol = 1 solar day on Mars, approximately 24 hours and 40 minutes.

Although the sun’s rays have not yet reached the interior of Jezero Crater, where Perseverance is conducting exploration activities, there are clouds floating in the sky that have just received the morning sun. In addition, Perseverance takes multiple images in regarding 2 minutes, and animation images that show the appearance of drifting clouds are also released.
