The new secretary general of the CGT warned this Friday that “as long as there is no withdrawal from the pension reform, there will be no negotiation” with the government.

Who is Sophie Binet, new General Secretary of the CGT?
Sophie Binet, born in 1982, is a former member of the Unef student union and former CPE (Principal Guidance Counselor). She had been at the head of Ugict since 2018.
Coming from the Confederal Executive Commission, the extended management of the CGT, she was a referent of the mixed women’s collective, and committed to environmental issues and gender equality.
