Soon back in Indiana Jones, Harrison Ford celebrates his 80th birthday

The scene takes place one morning in 1964. While waiting to break into Hollywood, Harrison Ford has landed a small job in a shopping center in Laguna Beach, a charming seaside resort south of Los Angeles. Late, he swallows the miles at high speed when he realizes he forgot to buckle his seatbelt. Wanting to fix his mistake, he will hit a telephone pole and inherit a scar on his chin which will become the “trademark” of some of his most famous characters. Starting with archaeologist Indiana Jones.

Since then, the native of Chicago has established himself as one of the most popular actors in American cinema, with a filmo to rival the competition. Among our favourites, Star Wars the George Lucas, Blade Runner by Ridley Scott, Witness by Peter Weir – his only Oscar nomination – Frantic de Roman Polanski, Working Girls by Mike Nichols, or The fugitive by Andrew Davis. Action, drama, comedy… He knows how to do everything even if his false nonchalance sometimes gives the impression that he has nothing to do with his partners.
