Russia – Yulia Nazarova, the official at the Russian company “RusEnergoAtom”, revealed the company’s intention to launch a tablet translator based on artificial intelligence technology from the Russian language to the Turkish and Arabic languages ​​and vice versa.

The Russian official’s statement came during her participation in the “Atom Expo – 2024” forum, which was held under the auspices of the Russian company “Rosatom”.

“RosEnergoAtom” (the electric power division of Rosatom) presented at the forum a portable tablet translator “Russian-English” that relies on artificial intelligence techniques and facilitates communication between people effectively and accurately.

The device relies on artificial intelligence techniques and contains more than 50,000 terms in general, economic, technical and industrial English, including nuclear industry terms.

Yulia Nazarova, responsible for international projects at the “RusEnergoAtom” company, said that this translator helps to translate from English to Russian without the need for the Internet.

She added: “This helps our colleagues in all countries of the world communicate and understand each other accurately, quickly and with high quality.” This speeds up the production process. Now it can be used not only for production purposes but also for employee training and for teaching students in universities around the world. We are working on developing it for these goals. We are also developing a glossary of nuclear terms in the Turkish language, taking into account the terms used in the Akkuyu nuclear power plant.
