Sonya Kraus pulls naked on TV for a good cause

Sonya Kraus (48) was particularly in focus. The presenter made it public last week that she had breast cancer. In the Vox show on Tuesday evening, she told the women’s group, consisting of model Lilly Becker (45), actresses Susan Sideropoulos (41), Sabine Kaack (64) and Sila Sahin-Radlinger (36), moderator Tanja Bülter (50) , comedian Nicole Jäger (39), and blogger and cancer activist Carolin Kotke (34), from the diagnosis. “I had a preliminary talk regarding ‘Showtime of my life’ on Wednesday and a check-up with my gynecologist on Thursday,” she recalled. At first the moderator assumed that it was a false alarm. Nobody in her family had cancer before and she felt great. “I’m healthy, don’t smoke, don’t drink, I’m slim and athletic, don’t eat meat, I’m happy and always in a good mood,” says Kraus. But the doctor found that the lump was a malignant breast cancer. That’s why she had both breasts removed and rebuilt four weeks before shooting began.
Kraus therefore wishes that all women go to preventive medicine. She emphasizes: “This doctor saved my life.” Her colleague Tanja Bülter sees it immediately. In 2020 she also developed breast cancer. “I had a lump in my throat. So much of what she said grabbed me because I can understand it so well, »she revealed.

Later, in teams of two, the women made a plaster cast of their breasts. Kraus, who works with Becker, jokes: “All men will be jealous because I can touch Lilly’s breasts and turn them into art.” And Kraus was also joking during dance training with “Let’s Dance” juror Motsi Mabuse (40): “I’m happy because it’s time for this old rattle box to start moving once more.”
